Note: I tried to rework on the Chinese region for the KR test welt map, but trying to replicate the borders of it seems pretty heard so I under if a skilled map artist could do the trick. Anyway, while my map may not be as accurate, I hope you enjoy it nevertheless. Anyways, feel free to us it so long as you give me credit. Also, some of the borders in the Kaiserreich map are questionable to me (a good example being Germany taking too much of Belgium). Honestly, I think "Authoritarian democrat" is an oxymoron if anything. Furthermore, there is this group called the Authoritarian Democrats, which reminds me too much of every paleoconservative's view of liberals as "spoiled brat SJW's" (Also, I'm neoconservative and proud). My problem with it, however, is that instead of fighting fascism or communism, the player has to fight anarchist groups who call themselves Syndicalists, as if they would rather go with lawlessness instead of communism totalitarianism. Its basically somebody's take on what would have happened if Germany won WWI. If you have OneDrive enabled, you will need to disable it for your mod folder. Here is my take on the world of Kaiserreich, a mod for the game Hearts of Iron 4. Note: If a clean install still results in errors on Windows, it's possible your mod folder is being continually overwritten by Microsoft OneDrive, due to its location in your Documents folder. Note: Running the game in admin mode may help if you are still having issues. This means software you are free to modify and distribute, such as applications licensed under the GNU General Public License, BSD license, MIT license, Apache license, etc., and software that isn’t designed to restrict you in any way. Ideally, in either case, you should now be able to launch the mod normally. A community for sharing and promoting free/libre and open-source software (freedomware) on the Android platform. At this point you should be good to proceed - make sure you play with no other mods active (other than the official submods), as they can cause conflicts with Kaiserreich's files.Re-subscribe to your HoI4 mods, and wait for Kaiserreich to download. We advise that you boot a vanilla game up to ensure that everything is working correctly, first.Reinstall HoI4 - we advise you put it on your main drive partition (for most users, this is the C: drive) if you can, as a known issue with the launcher is that it has difficulties with installations on non-standard partitions.Delete the "Hearts of Iron IV" folder entirely - if you have saves you want to keep, delete everything in that folder but the "save games" sub-folder instead.Find the folder where your HoI4 saves are kept (it's probably going to be in your Documents folder, some variation on C:\Users\ YourName\Documents\ParadoxInteractive\Hearts of Iron IV - once you get there, you'll see folders for "logs", "save games", "mod", etc.).Go to wherever you had HoI4 installed (it'll either be in SteamLibrary\SteamApps\Common or in ProgramFiles\Steam\steamapps\common, depending on your setup) and delete the "Hearts of Iron IV" folder that remains there.Uninstall HoI4 (if you're using Steam, go into your Library, right-click on "Hearts of Iron IV" and the Uninstall option should be under "Manage").Unsubscribe from all HoI4 mods (yes, all of them). The pull-down menu should say "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs") Ensure you aren’t on any beta branches of HoI4 - if you're using Steam, the way to check this is to go into your Library, right-click on "Hearts of Iron IV", select "Properties" and check under the Beta tab.For the love of all that is holy, please use a legal copy of HoI4.The step-by-step process for that is as follows: If you are having issues with Kaiserreich that you can't pin down, it may be worth doing a clean reinstall of both Hearts of Iron IV and Kaiserreich.
